Processing Time
Most orders are prepared within 3-15 days. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed timeline. Because each mold is made by hand, complex designs, larger orders, or busy periods may take a little longer.
Mold Colors
The color of the silicone mold may vary. Most molds are made in light or pastel shades, but the exact color is not guaranteed.
Shiny and Matte Finishes
Some molds have a shiny finish, while 3D printed molds usually have a matte finish.
Shiny molds are carefully sanded and polished so the sides feel clean, smooth, and glossy. Because every mold is handmade, small marks or slight surface variations may still exist.
3D printed molds may show printing texture, fine lines, or small marks from the making process. This is normal for this type of mold.
Acrylic Blanks and Handmade Details
For molds made from acrylic laser-cut blanks, the blanks are bonded and polished by hand. Small scratches, scuffs, marks, or tiny imperfections may be present.
Please keep in mind that handmade molds are not machine-perfect. These details usually do not affect the outcome of your resin work.
Heat and Bubble Removal
- Do not use a lighter or torch directly on your mold to remove bubbles. Heat can damage the silicone.
- Do not use sharp tools such as toothpicks, needles, or sticks to remove bubbles inside the mold. Sharp tools may leave permanent marks, especially on shiny molds.
- We recommend using silicone tools instead.
Cleaning
To clean your mold, use tape to gently lift dust or small debris from the surface.
